Summary

Celebrating its diverse heritage, every year the city of Haifa hosts the Holiday of Holidays to incorporate festivities of three distinct religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. For one month between late November and December every Thursday through Sunday, Haifa proudly recognizes the advent of Hannukah, Christmas and Eid Al-Adha with musical performances, street art displays and tasty treats. Tens of thousands of people attend the event, learning about the holidays of their neighbors, in a true testament to Haifa’s religious harmony. The event highlights the unique community cohesion between Jews and Arabs, offers neighborhood tours, liturgical concerts, Christmas tree decorating and more, all in a spirit of good cheer. The festival is now in its 17th year.
