This site presents the former house of Abraham Seneor, a former Jew who later converted to Roman Catholicism. The house has now been converted into a hotel.

General

Abraham Seneor, a Spanish Jew, was born in 1412 and died in 1493. Abraham Seneor lived in Segovia, and was a Rabbi, banker and politician as well as a senior member of the Castilian hacienda. Abraham converted to Roman Catholicism in 1492,under the name Ferran, Fernan or Fernando Perez Colonel or Colonel Fernando Nunez, founding the noble lineage of the Colonel.
