Summary

Every summer in August the Israel Museum opens its doors to the wine community for a night of wine tasting provided by some of Israel’s most well-renowned wineries, against the backdrop of smooth jazz in the museum’s outdoor Sculpture Garden. The museum itself is also open to the visitors, as they enjoy unlimited wine and conversation with winery owners about their special wines. The festival is a mainstream event that draws from the many facets of Jerusalem society, and has become Israel’s largest, most diverse and popular wine festival since its inception in 2008. Wine regions from all over the country, from the Golan to the Negev, are represented by dozens of wineries, prepped to meet the demands of thousands of visitors. The overall effect is a relaxing and enchanting night of spirits under the stars.
