Le Train de Vie is a unique Jewish restaurant in the Jewish Quarter in Marais, Paris. The restaurant offers a variety of Yiddish and Eastern European cuisine. It is a small, rustic venue with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and is run by Clause Berger, restaurant extraordinaire, who has created this Marais spot into a centre of Yiddish and Ashkenazi food, language and culture.

The menu of this ethnic gem includes classic gefilte fish, goulash mamaliga a la Roumaine, klops, sabbath plates, Ashkenazy sauerkraut, chopped liver, eggplant cheesecake a la new yorkaise and bagels at lunchtime. A variety of entertainment takes place regularly including live music and readings. This together with the creamy walls and antique photos help create a homely atmosphere, leaving one with a sense of community and encouraging its visitors to plan their next visit to Le Train de Vie.
