A official event represents the best events, and festivals World Jewish Heritage has to offer. These events showcase the polished result of the collaborative efforts that drive WJHpedia. All featured events undergo a thorough review process to ensure that it meets the highest standards, and can serve as the best example of our end goals. Annual culinary, cultural and music events full under the WJH official events list. A small blue star in the top right corner of a page indicates that the event is featured. This page gives links to all of WJHpedia's Official events.

In order to be considered a WJH Official event the value must meet at least on of the following criteria.

  1. The value should bear a related or at least exceptional testimony to a cultural tradition.
  2. The value should be related to Jewish culinary culture
  3. The value should be directly or tangibly associated with events or living traditions, with ideas, with artistic and literary works of outstanding Jewish significance.
  4. The value should be related to major stages of Jewish cultural history.
